Farrell Lawson Mills

Farrell Lawson Mills, former resident of Greenville County for over 30 years and the beloved wife of the late Earl B. Mills for nearly 50 years, passed away on April 18, 2018 at the home of her eldest son in Acworth, GA.

She was surrounded at the time of her death by all five sons, Robert Joseph Mills (Miriam), John Charles Mills, Alan Douglas Mills (Laurie), Jeffery Sutton Mills (Nana) and Dr. Zachary Taylor Mills (Susan); she was grandmother to 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

In addition to raising her boys and caring for all her family, she was an accomplished artist, winning several awards and participating in multiple exhibitions.

She was a loving caring person who accepted everyone as they were. She was a devout Christian and member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, Acworth, GA.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 2:45 PM in the Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive, Chapel. Visitation will begin at 1:45 PM prior to service. Burial will follow the service at Graceland East Memorial Park, Simpsonville, SC.
