Frances Hanks Farmer, 102, widow of Nathan O. Farmer of Greenville, died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015.
She was predeceased by a son, William Farmer.
She is survived by daughters, Mary (Herbert) Liverman of Mechanicsville, MD and Nancy (Raymond) Steele of Williamston, SC; and a son, Bruce (Linda) Farmer of Easley, SC
Mrs. Farmer was born on Dec. 21, 1912 in Townville, SC.
She retired from the Greenville Hospital System, where she worked as a nurse.
A service to celebrate her life will be held 2 pm Thursday, Feb. 5, in Remembrance Chapel at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 - 2 pm in the Chapel.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Salem United Methodist Church, 2700 White Horse Rd., Greenville, SC 29611.
