She attended Taylors High and Wade Hampton High schools and retired from Kemper Insurance, a place she enjoyed working for over forty years.
She was an active member of Paris Mountain Baptist Church of Half Mile Lake where she served as Secretary and Treasurer.
Franci is survived by her son, Andrew Smith; brothers, Frank Southern and Anthony Southern; grandchildren, Cadence Smith, Gabriel Smith, and Katie Smith; nieces, Frances Wilson, Michelle Parker, Breanna Tuten and Ashlyn Southern; great-nieces and nephew, Audrey Steedley, Daniel Steedley and Lauren lnfinger; step-son, Steve Smith; and great grandson, Westin Thompson. Also surviving is her adopted family, Anna "Bubba" Harley, her husband Dana "Big J" Harley, and their children, Heather and Hunter Harley.
Visitation for “Fatmama” will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:45PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 1 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
