I'm very sorry to learn of your Dad's passing. I have such fond memories of him from the history museum. He was always so kind and supportive. Without fail, he always gave me an update on how you are doing. He beamed when he spoke of you and was clearly so proud.  I remember him as a very gentle and special man. Thinking of you, Courtney

Katherine, Shane and Boys,  so sorry to hear of your loss.  Many times I watched your Dad/Granddad enjoy playing and spending time with the boys from across the street!  He loved his family and it showed!

As in all facets of his life, Gabe put family and community first. At the Museum he supported providing engaging experiences in history for children and families. We will deeply miss Gabe - he was our champion for providing hands on learning in history for children. Gabe would regularly bring his grandchildren to the Museum and send wonderful messages to the Board and staff celebrating the Museum's impact on his family and the families visiting the Museum. He was a dear friend, a visionary, and such a selfless induvidual. It was an honor to know him and to have been influenced by him. Condolences to all of Gabe's family. He was my very first boss when I joined Union Carbide 34 years ago. In hindsight, he was the best boss I ever had. We remained friends over the years. I am so very sorry for your loss.

I have only had the privilege of knowing Gabe for the two years I have been at the City of Mauldin.  He was by far the most kind-hearted and gentle souls I have ever met. As I often said about him, he is just "good people".  He will be greatly missed by me and all the staff in the Business and Development Services Department. It was always a treat when he stopped in to say hello and greet us all with  big bear hugs!   Ms. Beverly and family, please know we are thinking about you and praying that God's peace will wrap around and comfort you all.

I am saddened to hear of Gabe's passing and very sorry for your loss.  Over the years, Gabe was my client, colleague, and friend.  He was a man of great integrity who will be sorely missed.

We are holding the Hunter family up in prayer.  Gabe was an acquaintance of ours for almost 20 years.  In the past 5 years, we have gotten to know Gabe more personally with the South Carolina Barbeque Association.  He was a true Southern Gentleman, soft spoken and kind to all.  Our hearts are broken for this loss for his wife, children, community, and all who knew this dear man.  Heaven has gained another jewel.

Gabe was a wonderful man and he will be missed by us and all of his friends at the SCBA.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you Beverly and your entire family.
