Gregory Scott Carver

Gregg enjoyed many things in life, from muscle cars and NASCAR to his family, the beach, and especially his wife’s cooking. He would always be anxiously waiting for a bite of his favorite dish. His favorite expression was when told “It is hot” was “Well you’d be bitching if it was cold!” Gregg also enjoyed working outside. As the former owner of TLC Nursery and Garden Center, he cultivated and honed his skill for making yards look beautiful. Once the nursery was sold, he continued his craft in the form of Gregg’s Services, LLC.

Gregg is survived by his loving wife Jona D. Carver; two children, Jonathan S. Carver and Chloe R. Carver; his mother, Patricia L. Carver; one sister, Traci L. Carver (Ginger); one sister-in-law, Janice Carver; and niece Ashley L. Carver (Chris).

Gregg was predeceased by his father, Richard E. Carver; two brothers, Doug Carver and Andy Carver; and children, Ryan L. Carver and Madelyn N. Carver.

The family will receive friends at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 12:00pm until 1:45pm with a funeral service to follow at 2:00pm in the chapel. Burial will follow the service at Graceland East Memorial Park.
