Jack L. Steinke, 14, of Mauldin, SC passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 5, 2021. Born in Berlin, Germany, he was the first-born son of Lukas and Isabela Steinke. Jack was brother to the two years younger Miguel. Jack attended Mauldin High at the time of his passing.
In 2009 Jack and his family relocated to the U.S. and Jack quickly embraced the U.S. way of life. He loved the outdoors, including camping, hiking, hunting, skiing and boat riding. Jack was a hard worker, great in school, a talented pianist, and a diligent student of Taekwon-Do. As a black belt Jack was patient and kind in teaching other children how to improve their skills.
Jack enjoyed playing video games and reading books. He loved his family including his parents, his brother, his cousins as well as his countless friends. Jack was always kind to people and ready to help. He was loved by everyone and will be missed greatly.
