

Jacob was a long time Certified Public Accountant living and working in Greenville. He worked in Atlanta for a stint after receiving his BS degree from Auburn University and an MBA from the University of Alabama. Jacob was born in Montgomery, Alabama.
Jacob was involved in many activities throughout his life. Besides a long time alumni supporter of Auburn University and the SAE fraternity, he also was an avid historian authoring several articles focused on the history of the American Indians in Southern Alabama specifically in the Burnt Corn, Alabama area.
In Greenville, he used his accounting expertise in volunteering with several nonprofit organizations.
Jacob was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob F.B. Lowrey, Jr (Betty), of Centreville, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his wife Pedrick Stall Lowrey of Greenville, sister and brother-in-law Sandra and Grover Robinson III, and niece Lowrey Robinson.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Che’ Lowrey Tiernan (Pat), nephew Grover Robinson, IV (Jill), nieces Kelly Dellinger (Wes), Elizabeth Wilson (Mark), and nephew Patrick Tiernan (Katie), and great nephew Grover Robinson V (Rebekah), great nieces Anna Lowrey Robinson, Lowrey Dellinger, Elizabeth Dellinger, Catherine Dellinger, Caroline Wilson and great nephew Andrew Wilson. Also, Jacob's very special friend Jackie Highley.
Graveside services will be held in Burnt Corn, Alabama with family and friends sharing stories and celebrating Jacob’s life.
