Jacob Ryan Baltz, 37, of Greenville, SC died Monday, March 23, 2015 at his home. He was born November 25, 1977 in Greenville, to the late Donny and Sue Baltz. He attended Hillcrest Middle School and Mauldin High School.
Jacob lived in Greenville his entire life and surrounded himself with the best of friends, family, and good times. As loved ones think of Jacob, as they will often, memories of his smile and laughter, adventurous spirit, and love for life will remain steadfast.
Jacob is survived by his loving sister, Brooke Baltz Rogers, and husband Geoffrey of Raleigh, NC; grandfather Raymond Stewart of Charlotte, NC; and aunts, uncles, and cousins throughout various states.
A service to celebrate the life of Jacob will be held Sunday, March 29, 2015 at 2:30 pm at The Mackey Mortuary with Pastor Harry Levell officiating. Interment will be private for the family.
The family will receive friends Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 pm at the mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association, The ALS Association, or the Greenville Humane Society.
