James "Jim" Key, Jr. of Taylors, 82, died Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Greer Hospital. Born in Greenville, SC, he was a the son of the late James Parshall Key Sr. and Mattie Tesnear Key. Jim retired from Celanese Plastic Company after 20 years. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S. Army. Surviving are a sister and brother-in-law, Betty Jo and Willie Campbell of Taylors; bother and a sister-in-law Bill and Sarah Key of Winston Salem, N.C.; numerous nieces and nephew; and numerous Grad-nieces and Grand-nephew. The family will like to express their appreciation to Jim's care giver Jeff and Keyann Campbell.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Remembrance Chapel ; Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 27, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. in the Remembrance chapel of Woodlawn Memorial Park, located at 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC with a private burial following.
