Jeanne Stone Connell

Jeanne Worth Stone Connell, born October 24, 1930 was a resident of Greenville, SC. Daughter of Norma Jeanne Worth and Fred Stone. She was pre-deceased by her husband Floyd “Dude” Connell and her son Floyd Connell Jr. and sister Virginia Stone. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Cathy Connell Frasher and Jack Frasher, her granddaughters, Tori, Chrisi and Jessie, and her great grandchildren, Jack, Brad, Tiari, Lincoln, Lillian Grace, and Jamie Catherine. Also surviving is her large extended family who loves her dearly. We are all so grateful for the kind and loving team at the Cascades who took care of her during her final years of life. Jeanne met the love her life, Dude, and spent almost 50 years by his side. They enjoyed dancing, dinners at the Poinsett Club, and socializing with their friends. She worked as an interior designer and loved to be surrounded by beautiful things. Later in life she worked at Touring Sport and shared laughter and her glamourous fashion with everyone who stopped by. She was dedicated to her work and her family. She loved to walk and talk. She was so petite with a huge smile and a cute little laugh.

Jeanne will be remembered as the one who put a sparkle in every room. She was the epitome of glamour – she always had a compliment for everyone. You couldn’t leave a room without feeling “gorgeous or handsome.” She was sassy, had a great sense of humor, and a beautiful accent of a southern belle. Jeanne loved to dress in wigs, makeup, jewelry, perfume and high heels. She never went anywhere without her lipstick.

She adored animals, wanted to take all the dogs home. If you knew Jeanne, you’d know she is truly unforgettable!

Her life will be celebrated at 4:00 PM on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at 311 Century Drive, Greenville, SC.
