Jenna Catherine Hamberg

Born on May 23, 1987, in Greenville, Jenna’s life was marked by an enduring passion for the simple pleasures in life. She loved spending time in nature, especially hiking and swimming. Jenna graduated from Greenville Tech Charter High School in 2005 and went on to earn her Associate’s Degree from Greenville Technical College in 2019. Above all, Jenna was most proud of her role as a mother. She cherished her children—Lauren, Julie, and Ryan—more than anything, and her love for them was boundless. Jenna was also deeply loved by her partner of five years, John Michael McPherson, and her brothers David Wynn and Derek Wynn. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Harriet Jan Davis Wynn, who passed away on August 12, 2007. We take comfort in knowing that Jenna and her mother are now reunited.

Jenna’s memory will live on in the hearts of her children, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM, on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Mackey Funeral Home at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609. Burial will take place at Mountain View Memorial Park, 7 Duncan Rd, Travelers Rest, SC 29690, at 12:30 PM.
