Lena Bea Vance Staschak

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Arland Vance and Joseph Staschak; her son, Richard Vance; and her siblings: Helen Trinkle, JoAnn Lambert, Mildred Ball Bosh, Bill Carlton, Jim Carlton, and Peggy Mullins.

Lena is survived by her siblings, Jean Gillum of Mansfield, OH, and Walter Carlton Jr. of Clintwood, VA. She leaves behind her children: Judy Rainey of Simpsonville, SC; Lynn King of Largo, FL and Randall Vance of Indianapolis, IN, and her grandchildren: Scott King, Jamey King, Lisa Haasz, David Rainey (Shelley), Jessica Ebling, Tristan Vance, Taylor Vance, Sarah Vance, Allison Field and Leo Vance along with her twelve great-grandchildren. She will also be lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Lena found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. She treasured time with her friends at church and at the manor where she lived. Whether playing cards or bingo, going on group outings, enjoying dining out, shopping, or spending time with loved ones, Lena embraced every moment. She enjoyed her daily habit of crocheting and listening to audiobooks.
