Born on November 5, 1923 in Winona, Minnesota, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Louise Couchè. She married the late Lt. Col. Robert L. Thomas and made her home for thirty years where ever he was stationed. After his retirement, she made her final home in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
She is survived by her son, Michael F. Thomas of Loveland, Colorado and daughter Patricia A. Thomas of Greenville, SC. Grandchildren: Tracy Feigel and Katrina Thomas and great grandchildren J.D. and Shelby Rast and a special son-in-law Ray E. Ruff.
For the last two years, she was lovingly cared for by the wonderful staff at the Haven at Chanticleer.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday April 6th at Woodlawn Funeral Home located at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Interment will be private.
