She was a Believer and a member of Edwards Road Baptist Church but was unable to attend due to illness for many years.
She was married to her husband, Mark Allison, who cared for her, for almost 60 years. He remains in their home.
She is also survived by her daughters, Stacy Corbin (Alan) and Christie Allison as well as two granddaughters, Katie Gossett (Jacob), and Ellie Corbin. She was a great-grandmother to Everly and Emerson Gossett. Also surviving are her brother Joseph Bruce Huff and brother-in-law Skip White as well as nephews Nathaniel White, Robert Frey, Jonathan Frey, and Brent Allison.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph (Bruce) Huff and Elizabeth (Elaine) Greer Huff as well as her sisters Becky Huff White and Carolyn Huff Frey and her brothers-in-law Bob Frey and Bruce Allison.
A graveside service for Lynda will be held Monday, April 11, 2022 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Edwards Road Baptist Church 1050 Edwards Road Greenville, SC 29609
