M.J. Bowen, 76, of Greenville, SC went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Born in Cateechee, SC, he was the son of the late Hazel and Nettie Owen Bowen. He was an active member of Eastlan Baptist Church. He founded and retired from Printmasters Inc. and served in the US Navy. MJ was always the comedian with his great sense of humor. He loved being surrounded by his family and friends and was always the life of the party. He also loved riding his Harley. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Betty Watkins Bowen; his son and daughter-in-law: Derek and Dee Bowen and his daughter and son-in-law: Heidi and Michael Spires and grandson: Blake Bowen. MJ was predeceased by a brother: Kendell Bowen. Visitation will be at Eastlan Baptist Church on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 1:00pm - 2:15pm with the Celebration of Life at 2:30pm at the church followed by interment in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
