Margaret H Faile

Margaret Hardwick Faile, 93, of Greenville, South Carolina died on Thursday, May 23, 2024. Born in Gallivants Ferry, South Carolina, Mrs. Faile was the daughter of the late Isaac and Alma Hardwick. She was predeceased by her husband of sixty three years, Marion T. Faile, one brother, and two sisters.

Mrs. Faile graduated from Winthrop University and retired from the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland. She was a master gardener, a member of the Simpsonville Garden Club, and a member of the Seminar-Corder Sunday school at First Baptist Greenville.

She is survived by two sons, Andrew I. Faile (Laura) of Highland, Maryland and Eric J. Faile, MD (Judith Ann) of Greenville, South Carolina; three grandchildren, Matthew Faile (Selena), Anna Buren (John), and Andrew Faile; one great granddaughter( Delilah); four sisters, one brother, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel at First Baptist Church Greenville, 847 Cleveland Street Greenville, SC 29601 on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church Greenville ministry to families or the charity of one’s choice.
