Maggie was born in Kingsport, Tennessee. She was a graduate of Kent State University and taught art in Ohio, Saudi Arabia, and South Carolina. Maggie earned a master’s degree in Art Education and Counseling from Clemson University.
Maggie was passionate about art and traveling in Europe. She was a painter, jewelry maker, and potter.
She leaves behind her husband of thirty years as well as her brother Jim, and sister Dottie. She also has three nieces and three nephews.
