She was a homemaker, home health caretaker, and later retired after 17 years from Greenville Technical College in 1997. Born an only child, she became the beloved Matriarch of a very large family. She loved all her children, grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren! They brought her the greatest joy!
Preparing large family meals brought her happiness and she was a wonderful cook. She also enjoyed knitting, planting flowers, collecting, and spending time antiquing and her family beach and mountain trips! She loved all animals, but especially her many sweet doggies. She was a sweet, sweet soul who was kind to everyone and loved by everyone. Strong in her faith, she was a member of Sans Souci Baptist Church. She nurtured her children in faith.
Martha was just recently named the Powdersville Post Acute "Queen of Hearts" for her loving and kind spirit. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff of Powdersville Post Acute for their care throughout her residency.
