

Born in Maunie, IL on April 4, 1919 to Zene Alvin Daniel and Stella Ramming Daniel as one of five girls.
The family moved to Evansville, IN where she graduated at Reitz High School and Lockyear Business College.
In 1937 she went to work as a secretary at Evansville Courier and Press. In 1938 she met Jack on a blind date and married July 16, 1939.
Surviving are 3 children Jack Haynes Hancock, II, Jill Anne Stoller, and Robert Wesley Hancock; 8 grandsons; and 14 great grandchildren. At her passing she was the last surviving of the Daniel girls.
The love of her life, Jack, went home to be with the Lord on February 27, 2012.
She dearly loved her family and continually and willingly served them from the abundance of her heart. In 1939 she gave her heart to the Lord and became a prayer warrior and was quick to tell everyone that God “listened to her prayers”. She was a long-time member of the Gideon Auxiliary and volunteer at Methodist Hospital in Louisville, KY. She enjoyed traveling extensively in the US. Her residences have included Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and South Carolina, now she resides in the Methodist Section, New Jerusalem, Heaven!
Funeral service on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of The Mackey Mortuary with visitation prior to the service beginning at 12:30 p.m.
Honoring Mrs. Hancock’s wishes, cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests donations to Gideon’s International (Gideons.org).
