Mary Katherine "Kathy" Davis Richardson

Mary Katherine Davis Richardson “Kathy” was born in Greensboro, NC to H. Kenneth Davis and Dorothy R. Davis. She was married to Jenkins L. Richardson Jr. “Rick” for 52 years. Surviving are her children, Ellen R. Hedrick (Tom) and Jenkins L. Richardson III “Jay” (Katy) and her precious grandchildren, Rebecca Hedrick, Mary Louise Richardson, Elizabeth Claire Richardson “Ellie Claire”, and Jenkins L. Richardson IV “Jay”, a sister, Susan Culbreath (Keith) and a brother, Mike Davis (Debra). She is also survived by Luci Floyd (Linwood), Patti Davis, sister-in-crime and numerous nieces and nephews along with their children. She was a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Johnsie Richardson Circle and the Young and Restless Class.

Kathy retired from the School District where she formed many friendships. She worked at the Greenville Chamber of Commerce with the late Ann Lorentz and Louise Gilstrap, two lovely and fun ladies. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, vacationing with family and friends at Sunset Beach, NC, reading, and sipping hot chocolate at Barnes & Noble.

The service will be held at St. Michael Lutheran Church, with burial in the Columbarium. The date and time will be published when available. Memorials may be made to St. Michael Lutheran Church at 2619 Augusta Rd, Greenville SC 29605.
