Michael Edward Brown

Michael Edward Brown, 74, of Greenville SC, passed peacefully in his home surrounded by his wife and daughters on April 10, 2025. Mike was born on June 13th, 1950 in Athens, Georgia to Lee Roy and Nora Brown.

Mike studied and received his Associates Degree from Furman University. He retired from Charter Spectrum after a successful career in sales where he received many accolades. Mike married Laura Wham on August 6, 1977. They were blessed with two daughters, Stephanie and Natalie. Mike was a huge college football fan and loved cheering on the Gamecocks with his family. His hobbies included reading, music, art and spending time with his granddaughters, Madeline and Charlotte.

Mike is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Laura Wham Brown; his daughters Stephanie Martin and Natalie Ornelas; his granddaughters Madeline and Charlotte Martin; his son-in-laws Chris Martin and Ashton Ornelas. His brother Tim Brown and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lee Roy and Nora Brown; his brothers Randall and Gerald Brown.

Mike will be remembered for his love of people, his contagious smile, laughter and love of life.

Visitation will be held on Saturday April 19 at 12:00pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Greenville, South Carolina. Funeral Services held at 1:30pm in the chapel followed by a burial at Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery, 160 Crossroads Church Rd, Easley, SC 29640.
