

Born in Columbia, SC, he was the son of the late Richard Albert and Fannie Ellen Lake Fulmer. Richard served in the US Navy during World War II. He joined the US Postal Service in 1946 and retired after 38 years of service. He was a charter member of Francis Asbury United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Becky Fuduric and her husband Tom of Greenville; and Sylvia Howard of Powdersville; his grandchildren, Ashley (Stan) Duchesne, Alicia (Brad) Greene, Brandi (Matt) Deets, Joseph (Erin) Fuduric, Ross (Ruthie) Howard, Russell Howard, and Richard (fiancée Avery) Howard; and ten great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Lena Smith and Sara Allison, both of Greenville.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his two brothers Everett and Jack Fulmer.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 1:00pm at Francis Asbury United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at The Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive, on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 5:00pm – 6:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Francis Asbury United Methodist Church, 1800 East North Street, Greenville, SC 29607.
