Montez G. Cox, 80, of Taylors, SC and widow of Charles Lee Cox, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2011. Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Walter Roy and Lila Owen Gilreath McConnell. Montez is survived by four children: Marci Poston (Ricky), Phil Cox, Sr. (Gail), Wayne Cox (Diane), and Jorita Hodges; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a sister: Enzull Cole. She was predeceased by a sister Juanita Greene Henson. Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
