Randall Earl Sanders

Born on Oct 1st, 1948, in Greenville, S.C., to Theron Earl and Louise Grant Sanders.

Randall was a devoted husband, a proud father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.

He was a graduate of Hillcrest High School and served in the U.S. Army. He retired after 30 years of honorable service in 1998 at the rank of E8 First Sergeant. A member of Rock Springs Baptist Church, Easley, SC. Randall was dedicated to his family. He enjoyed hunting and did so in various trips to the Western U.S. with his brother, Steve Sanders, and many of his friends throughout the years. He also had a passion for woodworking and designed many one-of-a-kind items for his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sylvia Barnett Sanders: his daughters Sonya Autrey (Bryan Langston) and Christie Reeves; a brother Steve Sanders (Darlene) and family; a sister Wanda Norris (late husband Tommy) and a grandson Brady Autrey (Mackenzie); four great grandchildren, Lukas, Bristol, and Brooks Autrey; and Jaxon Bond.

He is predeceased in death by his parents, a sister, Renee Sanders, and a granddaughter, Sydney Sanders.

Services for Randall will be held Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609. Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM. A committal service with military honors will be held in Woodlawn Memorial Park immediately after the funeral.
