Richard Gerald Crawford, 82, of Easley, loving husband of Gwen Crawford, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020 at his home.
Born in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Richard Crawford and Dorothy Van Kirk. Mr. Crawford was a member of Woodside Church of God. He enjoyed restoring cars and woodworking, and was always lending a helpful hand to anyone in need. He proudly served in the US Airforce.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 61 years is one son, Gerald Crawford (Jacqueline) of Greer, South Carolina; one daughter, Tracy Gary (David) of Greeley, Colorado; seven siblings, Joanne McCann, Curt Crawford, Geraldine Moore, Eva Cox, Pearl Mays, Clarence Crawford, and Sally Ann Vocial; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Joshua, Morgan, and Alexis; and four great-grandchildren, Curtis, David, Karolynn, and Eleanor.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Maxine Hohn and Dolly Frank.
Due to current restrictions, the family will not be present, but friends may come pay their respects on Friday, April 24, 2020 between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.
A private family only funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The service will be live streamed on the Woodlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park Facebook Page beginning at 10:45 AM. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the Woodside Church of God Building Fund, 1410 W. Parker Road, Greenville, SC 29617.
