Jolene was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a member at Mauldin First Baptist Church. She was also active in a number of committees, bible studies, and other activities at Rolling Green Village. She retired from the Greenville County School System where she was an elementary school teacher.
Jolene was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, William Wade Sissel.
She is survived by four children, David Sissel (Rhonda), Lesa Welborn (Jack), Michael Sissel (Beth), and Rhonda Sissel; and ten grandchildren, Samantha, Jessica (Geoff), Austin, Amanda, Brandon, Jackson, Spencer Grace, Katelyn, Blake, and Harrison.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 4, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at 311 Century Drive, Greenville, SC 29607. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Mackey Chapel.
