Sara Ann Curtis, 87, of Greenville, SC, passed away on Saturday, August 13. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was predeceased by her beloved husband John Curtis of over 49 years. She leaves behind her companion of 20 years, Hollie Kyzer; daughters Linda Ann Birchfield and husband Larry, and Cathy Poore and husband Marcell; sons John Philip and wife Linda, and Stephen Curtis; brothers Don Rice and wife Wanda of Georgia and David Rice and wife Evelyn of Travelers Rest, SC; sisters Francis Bishop of Lexington, SC, Vera Medico and husband Frank of North Carolina, and Dot Leaf and husband Bob of Georgia; along with 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her mother Ethel, father Carmen, and brothers Mack Rice and Jerome Rice. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 17, at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the McCall Hospice House of Simpsonville - Arrangements under the direction of Woodlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Greenville, SC.
