Steve was born on October 20, 1941 and was the son of the late Norman Henry Schuett and Jean Schuett Lawson. He grew up in Atlanta and was a graduate of Marist College and Georgie State University with a Bachelor of Visual Arts. Before retirement, he was the Owner and Creative Director of Adgroup, Inc. He was an avid photographer, loved traveling and restoring classic cars, as well as designing and building timber frame homes.
In addition to his loving wife of 51 years, he is survived by a brother-in-law, Al Traver (Susan); sister-in-law, Edith Traver; two nephews, Will Traver (Lori), Ed Traver; and son, Scott Schuett (Sue).
Memorial services will be held at 3:00pm on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive, 311 Century Drive, Greenville, SC 29607. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
