There's hardly a day that goes by that something doesn't remind me of Susan. Throughout our 31 year friendship, we shared thoughts and opinions on many things, especially our love of animals.

Susan and I were friends in Real estate on Ft Myers Beach   Florida She was my inspiration for being an Animal lover Cats  and Dogs We were supposed to go on a cruise before Covid took over the world I have been. Calling almost weekly and have had no success reaching her As. a Last resort I typed in her name and got her obituary Shocked and very sad She was a wonderful human being with not a mean bone in her body She was relentless with giving her time and
always volunteering when needed I am sorry 
We did not get to go on our Cruise ,We would have had fun and shared a

Susan and I were friends during high school and in the early 1960s in Oak Park, Illinois.   We were in a group of six friends who did a lot of socializing during that time.  She was a wonderful friend and classy lady and we had many good times together.  After I moved away, we kept in touch mostly with mail or email.  She loved her cats and dogs and I admired her care and concern for animals.  May you rest in peace, dear friend.

My lovely cousin, my mentor, my sweet friend :  my heart is broken and will miss you until we meet in God's heaven.
Susan was very patient with her little cousin growing up, and was a wonderful role model to me.  We were always friends as adults and spoke frequently.  She gave me good advice and we had each others backs  through our "difficulties" in life.
Having just finding out about her death is a further shock having just spoken before her birthday.

We begin to remember not just that she died, but that she lived and that her life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.

Dear Susan was a very caring lady. She loved her dogs and cats. They were her children.  She also had a few close friends. Her friend Judith lived in Florida and she had known 
Susan for over 30 years. Her friend Fred looked after her lawn, helped her with fixing things around the house that she was unable to do. She adored Fred and his wife Ann.  She and her friend Cathy went out to dinner the weekend of her birthday to celebrate. She also brought Cathy into Republican Women. She enjoyed being a part of this group. I am President and enjoyed her at the meetings and her phone calls. She will be missed by all, especially her animals whom she entrusted to Angel at the Humane Society. I know she will be missed by members of the other organizations, but these are the ones we had in common. She is now with the Lord and will be with us in spirit. Until we meet again, our hugs and love go with her.💕🙏

What a grand time we had the past 3 years going to art shows, ballet, symphony, SCRW club, shopping at Chico's, Water Matters class, CWP class, volunteering at the Spartanburg Humane Society, and many many fine dinners.  I will miss my dear friend very much, I have no one of your caliber to go on adventures with any more.  Thank you for all your love & kindness and helping me be a better person in so many ways (besides just better dressed!)  You've crossed the Rainbow Bridge, for sure!  Susan was such a fine and beautiful Lady who loved & cared for so very many animals during her lifetime.
