Wayne was born February 15, 1944 in Radford, Virginia to Roxie Compton Vicars and Warren Vicars.
Wayne was a member of Victory Baptist Church, Easley SC.
Wayne love to work as a contractor and owned his own business. Wayne also loved to hunt and fish.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Vicki Faust Vicars; son Chip Hamilton (Teresa); son Jeff Vicars (Jodie); and daughter Angela Simpson (Scotty); brother Jr. Vicars, sister Shirley Vicars and sister Betty Covey. Wayne also leaves 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchild to cherish his memories.
Wayne was preceded in death by; father Warren Vicars and mother Roxie Compton Vicars; brother Leon Vicars.
A visitation for Wayne will be held Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609. A funeral service officiated by best friend Rev. Gregg Phillips will occur Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 11:00 AM in The Chapel at Mackey at Woodlawn Memorial Park. A burial will occur following service in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
