He made a career in the textile industry; he loved motorcycle riding and traveling. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Ann Counts Garrison.
Surviving are his son, Rickey Garrison of Greenville; his grandchildren, Chris and Jessica Garrison of Anderson; Rick and Rachel Morris of Simpsonville; and his great grandchildren, Brittany, Tiffany and Rickey.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 2:00 pm at The Mackey Mortuary. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 10, 2015 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm at the mortuary.
