
Mr. Willie Chester Scott, affectionately known as “Rabbit” and “Chester,” entered eternal rest at his home in Greenville, South Carolina on December 12, 2025 at the age of 77. He was the son of the late Willie Scott and Annie Ruth Barton Scott.
Chester was a member of Meadow Fork Baptist Church of Travelers Rest, South Carolina. He attended Lincoln High School class of 1966 and worked for Southeastern Freight Line for many years before his retirement. He had a passion for sports cars and motorcycles and enjoyed working on motorcycles as one of his pastimes.
Chester was preceded in death by his daughter, Katrina Scott, son, Paul Anthony Richardson, and sister, Pamela McCracy. He is survived by his devoted wife, Debbie Scott, of the home; children Caseia Scott, Mareia Scott and MJ Scott of the home; as well as Myron Robertson of Greenville, South Carolina; Sebastin Foster of Atlanta, Georgia; Sabrina Williams of Atlanta, Georgia; Selena Richardson of Spartanburg, South Carolina; Tequila Scott of Maryland; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition, he also leaves behind sisters, Mabel Adams of Dacusville, South Carolina, Annie Mae Irby of Greenville, South Carolina, and Vickie (Shelley) Louris and Rita K. Pace, both of Travelers Rest, South Carolina; brothers, Clifton (Kim) Scott of Taylors, South Carolina and Antoine (Teresa) Scott of Greenville, South Carolina; along with special daughter, Bethany Leslie, nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends.
