Zora Mae Westmoreland

She was born on March 7, 1923 to Charles Lee Kinsey and lcie Chastain Kinsey in Nacoochee, Georgia.

She is survived by her two sons, Boyd Glen Westmoreland (Elaine) of Cayce, SC and Grady Kinsey Westmoreland of Greenville, SC; three grandchildren, Tracy Dales (Shannon) of Easley, SC, Tiffany Slay (Kabin) of Fort Mill, SC, Tammy Sakata (Mike) of Orlando, FL; three step- grandchildren, Janet Smoak (Kevin) of Lexington, SC, Wallace McManus (Carolyn) of Lexington, SC, Donna Basden (Mark) of Albuquerque, NM and fifteen great-grandchildren: Patrick Dales, Daniel Westmoreland, Tristin Whitfield (Trey), Spencer Slay, Aidan Sakata, Mairin Sakata, Kieran Sakata, Rian Sakata, Logan Lyles, Tanner Lyles, Jacob Smoak, Justin Smoak, Sabrina McCray, Andrew McManus and Madison McManus; two sisters, Edith Westmoreland of Greenville, SC and Geneva Boling of District Heights, MD and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Boyd Westmoreland, and their firstborn son, Billy Frank Westmoreland.

In her earlier years, Zora loved cooking and was known for opening her home to family and friends to enjoy good home cooked meals, which always included her specialty, homemade biscuits.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive, Greenville, SC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
