

GLENN J. ELLIOTT, age 56, died on July 20th at New York Presbyterian Hospital. He was the loving husband of Cheryl Elliott and beloved father of his two daughters, Brooke Elliott and Alana Elliott of Old Greenwich, where they reside. He was surrounded by loving family and friends as he entered into eternal rest. Glenn is also survived by his parents, Gordon and Joyce (Bria) Elliott and four brothers and one sister and their families, Robert Elliott and fianc� Jill Clare, Bruce Elliott and wife, Tracy and daughter, Alison, Kyle Elliott and his wife, Nancy and their children, Grace, Kyle Jr., Chase and Sloane, John Elliott and his wife, Traci and their children, Jordan and Evan; also his sister, Beth Elliott-Rogers and her husband, John and their children, Ellie, Madeline and Sadie Rogers. Glenn is also survived by his mother-in-law, Barbara Gutin and father-in-law, Irving Gutin and their daughter, Nina Gutin and her daughter, Jamie. Glenn is also survived by his father-in-law, Joseph Palacio and his wife, Marge Palacio. After graduating from Watertown High School in 1971, Glenn graduated from University of Vermont Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Business Administration and received his M.B.A. from NYU's Stern School of Business. Glenn's career spanned more than 30 years as a senior real estate professional responsible for strategic planning, negotiating and asset managing corporate real estate portfolios for major corporate organizations and advisory firms including (most recently), Newmark Knight Frank, Reuters America Holdings, Jones Lang Wootton Realty Advisors and Capital Cities/ABC. Prior to joining Reuters in 1995, Elliott served as deputy commissioner of Real Estate for the City of New York Department of General Services. At Reuters, Glenn was project director/lead negotiator for the development of the new Reuters American Headquarters at 3 Times Square, a joint venture with the Rudin Organization. He received the honor of "Outstanding Corporate Real Estate Executive of the Year" in 1999 from the New York Chapter of NACORE for his work on this project. Glenn will be remembered for his love and devotion to his family and many friends and colleagues. He had a passion for rock music and loved to sing. He was an incredible dancer. He was known for the creativity that he brought to the board room. He was an active and enthusiastic contributor to his community and charities. He was especially proud of his recent work building the Community Garden at Armstrong Court Apartments in support of the Greenwich Junior League. Family and friends may call on Sunday, July 25th from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Leo P. Gallagher Funeral Home, 31 Arch Street, Greenwich. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 26th at 10 a.m. at St. Catharine of Siena Church, Four Riverside Avenue, Riverside.
