Grace Butler

Grace Marie Butler died peacefully at home on September 16, 2017. She was born on August 15, 1929 the 4th of 10 Children born to Thomas and Anna (Shredders) Fox. She was a lifelong Greenwich resident. Every summer from June to September you could find Gracie at her favorite place, Island Beach. She is survived by her husband of 61 years Richard (Dick) Butler, her daughter Betty Ann Weiss (David) sons: Richard (Vanessa), Edward (Lori) and Thomas (Kirsten) Butler all of Greenwich. Her 9 grandchildren Tracy McCollom (Jordan), Taryn and Chad Weiss, Kyle, Kaia, Kaden, Kolton, Connor and Ryan Butler, 2 Great Grandchildren Leah and Owen McCollom. She is also survived by her sisters, Elaine Jordan, Betty Lou Morus and Ginger Davies and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 4 brothers Thomas (Junie), Bob, Raymond and Edwin Fox and 2 sisters Ruth Tyburski and Anita Styles. Calling hours will be Wednesday September 20, 2017 9:30-10:30am at Leo P Gallagher & Son Funeral Home 31 Arch St Greenwich, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St Paul’s Church RC, 84 Sherwood Ave. Greenwich.
