John Charles Basile

On a beautiful Friday afternoon, with the sun shining on his face, John "Dad," passed away peacefully at the "Regional Hospice and Homecare Center of Danbury, CT". . At the time of his passing, John "Dad," was surrounded by friends and family. He was 64 years old, born in the Bronx on April 20th 1951.

John lived a life filled with too much to mention, in a short, yet fulfilling life. From growing up with next to nothing on the streets of NY to becoming an extremely successful person many times over. Most importantly, are the many many lives John touched along his journey from all over the world. Each one with their own story of how he has touched their lives. And we can't forget the love and passion he had for his shoes.

John is survived by his sister Joyce, 3 sons Jimmy, Justin, and Stefan, as well as his 6 grandchildren: Natalie, Matthew, Emilia, James, Joshua, and Jacob.

A special thanks goes out to Jim and Rosemarie for their tireless help during this time. It is immensely appreciated. We also want to give a very special thank you to John's daughter n law, Kinga and his sister, Joyce for being by his side day in and day out over the last months of his life.

Johns memorial will be on Saturday March 5th, 2016 between 3-7PM
