John was born on June 27, 1951 in Brooklyn, NY to John C. Cody Jr. and Gereldine M. Cody. He graduated from New Rochelle High School in New Rochelle, NY. John was employed by St. Moritz Bakery Shop as an assistant baker for 35 years at the time of his passing.
John is survived by his sister, Jayne-Marie Lockett of New Canaan, CT and two brothers, Glenn Cody of San Mateo, CA and Mark Cody of Fairfield, CT. He is also survived by three nieces and two nephews; all of whom reside in Connecticut.
A visitation will be held December 23, from 3-6p.m. at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 31 Arch Street, Greenwich. Burial will be private.
