

Steve was a member of the Port Chester Senior Center and the Garden State Post Card Club. He was a long time member of the East Port Chester Fire Department and also a past member of the Greenwich Special Police.
During his life, Steve worked as a teller at various banks including the State National Bank, and as a Belle Haven Police Officer, and was the owner and operator of Ozzie's Stationary in Byram. He was also the Moderator of Absentee Ballots for many years in Greenwich.
Steve enjoyed bus trips to the various casinos and loved playing dominoes (The Game) with his friend Diane at the center.
Steve was predeceased by his father Stephen, his mother Eleanor, and his favorite pup Sugar, all of whom are happily together again.
He is survived by his brother Stan, and his King Street cousins John, Kathy, and Ronnie (Pookie), along with nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his many friends and "Family" from the Port Chester Senior Center.

Steve's family will receive friends on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 31 Arch St.. Greenwich. CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Sacred Heart Church, 95 Henry St., Greenwich.
