Stuart was born on April 8, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY. He is survived by his wife Betty Berelson, children Joel Berelson (Charles Maples), Lori Aslan (Stacy Aslan), Wendy Berelson (William Stump), and Meredith Gold; grandchildren CJ, Miles, and Hildy. He was preceded in death by his parents Milton and Eleanor Berelson, and sister Joan Berelson.
Funeral services will be held at Greenwich Reform Synagogue, 92 Orchard St., Cos Cob, CT 06807 on Thursday, May 23 at 10:30 am followed by a burial service at Beth Israel Cemetery, 1098 Woodbridge Center Dr, Woodbridge Township, NJ 07095.
