Timothy F Bruce

Tim Bruce loved without judgment, condition or conceit. Tim gave more than he took. He cared for those in pain and gave to those in need. He was merciful, selfless, generous and always present. Tim was quick to laugh and his smile was magnetic. He was incredibly smart, wickedly funny and always got the joke before it was born. He pulled people in armed with nothing more than his personality and a genuine interest in what you had to say.

Tim didn’t understand cruelty or bigotry or a disregard for compassion and understanding. It may all seem so simple but few of us ever really grasp it. Yet perhaps most important of all is that Timothy accepted people just as God made them, without criticism or discrimination. This is testament from those who knew Tim and who loved him.

Tim was also a musician, composer, engineer and mixer. Music was his passion. It fed his soul. It allowed him to express himself. And he loved to share his gift.

Tim was and remains a beautiful soul. Timothy actually means, “child of God”. Tim truly was. And now, he is with Him.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10am this Saturday at St. Mary’s, 178 Greenwich Ave.
