Albert Lee White, 88 died Friday, February 1, 2013 in at Sparks-Peachtree Hospice in Fort Smith. He was born April 10, 1924 in Russellville, AR, and has resided in Greenwood, AR the past twenty-six years after living thirty years in Ontario, CA. He was an aircraft/air frame machinist for GE and TWA before retiring. He attended the Church of Christ and was a 32nd degree Mason.
He is survived by his wife of seventy-one years, Nancy; one daughter, Lynda Kropf and husband, Joe of Gainesville, TX; two grandchildren, Darin Kropf and Leann Madoux; two great-grandchildren, Dylan Madoux and Savannah Terry, and two sisters, Jimmie Kinnee of California and Sallie Murren of Oregon. He was preceded in death by a son, Albert Lee White, Jr.; his parents, four brothers, five sisters, and two grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 5 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood, with burial at Green Hill Cemetery in Cameron, OK. There will be no public viewing.
Pallbearers will be Ray Elam, Carlos Elam, Joe Kropf, Darin Kropf and Mike Hartman
