Alice M. Jones, 91, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024 in her home. She was born January 6, 1933 in Palo Alto, California to Manuel and Mary (Sequeira) Medeiros. She was retired from L & J Drive In and attended the Methodist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Marcella Jones and her wife, Valerie of Greenwood, two grandchildren, Samantha and Malakai Shepard and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Jimmy “Barney” Jones, three brothers, Edward, Arthur and Arnold and two sisters, Deanna and Vera.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Monday, August 5 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood. Viewing will begin at 9 a.m. on Monday. Interment will be at Liberty Cemetery.
