Barbara Ann McDaniel

Barbara Ann McDaniel, 77, Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2026 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was born June 13, 1948 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Loyd Carl and Mary Margarette (Graham) McDaniel. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by one son, Jeff Chastain and wife, Shari of Mansfield; one daughter, Miranda Palmer and husband, Mark of Greenwood; one brother, Kenny McDaniel; five grandchildren, James Palmer, Marla (Mike) Plaster, Jessica (Matthew) Tabor, Justin Chastain, Hunter (Paige) Chastain and five great grandchildren, Luke Palmer, Clayton Palmer, Fia Plaster, Henry Plaster and Calliope Tabor.

A family led memorial service will be held 12 p.m., Saturday, May 30 at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1301 Frank St., Barling, AR 72923. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
