Billie Cheek

Billie Cheek, 84, of Jenny Lind, Arkansas passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a homemaker and member of the Rose Garden Full Gospel Church. She was prededed in death by her husband, John Cheek.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Faith Baptist Church in Jenny Lind with burial at Old Jenny Lind Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Wednesday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 – 8 p.m.

She is survived by one son, Ronnie Cheek and wife, Cheryl of Greenwood; three daughters, Mary Jean Hale and husband, Jim of Van Buren, Judy Robison and husband, Mike of Jenny Lind, Johnnie Gordon and husband, Paul of Tulsa; thirteen grandchildren, Lisa Parnell, Brandon Cheek, Jonathan Cheek, Kaycee Cheek, Amanda Hale, Tiffany Hale, Sherry Metzler, Ken Robison, Jimmy Hale, Donna Hale, Wesley Rylee, Zachary Rylee and Presley Cheek; fifteen great grandchildren and caregiver, Jo Harmon of Hackett.

Pallbearers will be Darrell Elliott, Kenny Hunt, Josh Rylee, Jimmy Hale, J. Paul Gordon and David Gordon. Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Crockett, William Clark, Billy Jo Clark, Harold Freeman and Dwain Callahan.
