Sharon and family,

 We mourn your loss. The world has lost a great husband and dad. When talking to Bill, you really didn't know where he was going when he started but most definitely knew where he was going when he finished. Loved the man.

Bill Dake loved the Lord and lived to see people come to know him.  Bill also loved his family, his church family,  good overalls, the St. Louis Cardinals, fried bologna, a spirited traditional  singing of There's Power in the Blood, what became known as the Bill Dake Christmas Special and over the years I believe he loved to face life with a smile but I bet he never smiled like he is now in the presence of the God he served.

I’m so sorry to hear about Bill’s passing.. he was such a wonderful man and I thought the world of him.. he always had a smile and a hug for me wherever we saw each other, and he always wanted to know if I was still singing. Bill.. I’m gonna miss you my friend.. but I know you are going to be in wonderful company in Heaven.

Cousin Billy was always full of fun with a positive attitude, and always treated me nice even if teasing me a little.   I don’t remember him swearing or being rough around the edges , but rather very sociable and enjoyable to be around.  Billy  married a sweet girl and had a great family, and was active in church.  He has a great legacy and I am glad to be his kin.  I wish I could have been around him and family more.

So sorry to hear of Bill's passing.  Bill and I worked together for many years at Sparks.  We shared a lot of stories and laughs as we both grew up in a similar environment.  Especially enjoyed his stories of fishing at Lake Fork.  Always wanted to go there and fish but have not made that trip.  Know you are in my thoughts and prayers.  I will be traveling next week so will miss the service.  God's blessing to the family.

I just loved MR Bill but I know he's in the presence of our ALMIGHT FATHER  and HE'S overjoyed!!!! No more suffering or worrying in this world he is seeing what he has read and heard preached for SO many years, He's in the presence of his LORD. THOSE of us he left behind need to look forward to being with him when our time has come. I PRAY for COMFORT for his family.

I'm so sorry to hear about Bill, he was a good friend to Tom and me. He went to see Tommy when he was in the hospital and it meant so much to him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Mr. Dake is survived by his wife, Sharon Dake; two sons, Bill Dake of Rye Hill and Steve Dake and his wife, Angel of Hackett and one grandchild, Jasper and his wife, Violet of Midland.
