Bob Carter

Bob Carter, 75, of Greenwood, passed away on Tuesday, August 7th in a Fort Smith hospital. He was retired from Windsor Door Manufacturing in Knoxville, AR. He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Roberson and a brother, Johnny Carter.

Survivors include his wife, Sue, of the home; one son, DeWayne Carter and his wife, Josie of Greenwood; one daughter, Belinde Eakin and her husband, Rick of Memphis, TN; one brother, Jerry Carter and his wife, Ann of Parks, AR; one sister, Mary Winters and her husband, Bob of Fort Smith, AR and three grandchildren, Aaron Carter of Greenwood and Carter and Catherine Eakin of Memphis, TN.

Services will be at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, August 10th at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Cedar Creek Cemetery, near Parks, AR under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood. Visitation will be Thursday, August 9th from 1-8 PM at the funeral home where family will visit with friends from 5-7 P.M.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Carter, Carter Eakin, Rick Eakin, Terry Campbell, Bobby Winters and Jodie Winters.
