

Bolin Stewart, 66, of Slaytonville, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at his home. He was a retired high school principal for Johnson County Westside High School at Coal Hill, member of the Western Arkansas Coon Hunter’s Association, an avid bird hunter, and a member, deacon, and Sunday school teacher at New Providence Baptist Church on Slaytonville Road.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the Rock Island Community Church, Rock Island, OK with interment at New Providence Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Sherrie, of the home; a son, Sean Stewart of Hackett, AR; a daughter, Shannon McClure and husband, Johnny, of Slaytonville, AR; three brothers, John Stewart and wife, Sandy, of Altus, AR, Jack Stewart and wife, Liz, and Elbert Stewart and wife, Bobbie, all of Mulberry, AR; three sisters, Jane Graf of Mulberry, Bertha Bearden of Ozark, AR, and Judy Mobrak and husband, Reza, of Little Rock, AR; two grandchildren, Avery and Ashlyn McClure of Slaytonville, AR; special grandchildren, Jonathan and Mackenzie Cooper of Hackett, AR, and a special nephew, Kyler Graf of Rock Island, OK.
Viewing will be from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, March 5th at the funeral home in Greenwood where the family will visit with friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Pallbearers will be George Green, Mike Heffley, Clarence Holt, Louis Kirkendall, Johnny Graf, and Greg Gibson. Honorary pallbearers are Earl White, John Paul Mathis, Jonathan Cooper, and Kyler Graf.
