Bruce Allen Gentry

Bruce A. Gentry, 51, of Hartford, Arkansas went to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, June 27. 2011 (Kicking It With Jesus). He was born April 15, 1960 in California. He was a beloved husband, father, grandpa, son, brother, uncle and best friend. He was a welder fabricator, member of the Hartford First Baptist Church, bus driver for Team Kids and Youth, he enjoyed fishing, camping, barbequing and spending time with his family, playing with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Gentry.

Memorial service will be 3 p.m., Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Hartford First Baptist Church. Cremation is under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.

He is survived by his wife and best friend, Bernetta; one son, Bryce Gentry of the home; three daughters, Jennifer Sabatucci of Hartford, Marti Gentry and Vanessa Gentry of the home; his mother, Ethel Gentry of Fontana, CA; two brothers, Robert Gentry, Jr. and Rodney Gentry both of California; three sisters, Barbara Rivera, Linda Smithson and Patti Helzer all of California; four grandchildren, Caitlin, Colby and Cameran Sabatucci and Kalli Gentry all of Hartford and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dan Sutton, Jeff Montgomery, Brad Hamby, Stuart Katz, Frank Cooper, Harvey Harlin, Joel Sabatucci and Lenord Lewis.
