Dale Denver Boss

Dale Denver Boss, 92, of Ione, Arkansas passed away Friday, January 1, 2016 in Mercy Hospice in Ft Smith. He was born July 28, 1923 in Barber, Arkansas to Henry and Lizzie Boss. He was an active member of Ione Baptist Church, a World War II veteran and retiree of Ace Comb Company. Dale is preceded in death by his parents, sister Velta, and infant siblings Fern, Henry and Gussie.

Funeral will be 10 am Tuesday, January 5 at Ione Baptist Church, with burial at Glendale Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood, Arkansas. Viewing and visitation will be Monday from 2-4 pm at Roberts Funeral Home in Booneville.

He is survived by a sister, Winnie Farmer and husband Virgil; 8 nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Harger, David Walker, Wayne Thomas, Paul Glidewell, David Powell, and Bob Krepps. Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Harris and Frank Stokes.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to Ione Baptist Church Building Fund, c/o Gary Cobb, 1132 Eastwood Dr., Booneville, AR 72927.
