Dale B. Moody

Dale Moody, 68, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a retired truck driver and full time farmer and a member of Howard Hill Assembly of God Church.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Howard Hill Assembly of God Church with burial at Dawson Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Wednesday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 – 8 p.m.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Margie Moody; four daughters, Renate Hunt and husband, Calvin of Jenny Lind, Tracy Smith and husband, James of Greenwood, Camilla Cantrell and husband, Wes of Greenwood and Donella Moore and husband, Buck of Van Buren; nine grandchildren, Cassie, Cheryl, Carol, Tiffany, Chris, Patrick, Cory, Hayden and Alexis; eight great grandchildren, Jasmin, Jordan, Kelsie, Raegan, Jayda, David, Kaiden and Cooper and numerous nieces, nephews, loved ones, friends and church family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Jennie Moody; two brothers, Doyle and Coy Moody; six sisters, Hazel Balser, Ollie Lee, Inis Johnson, Sue Redwine, Reba Hood, Margie Cox and one granddaughter, Amanda Hunt.
